Wednesday Randoms

I have been summoned for jury duty for the first time in my life.  Kinda hoping it’s a fun time.

I don’t get people who are not handicapped that press the handicapped access buttons so doors automatically fly open.  I think you’re lazy.

http://1000awesomethings.com/ is a little corny, but worth a five minute distraction if you need one.  It made me grin a little bit.

I think it says a lot about a person if they put their buggy back in the cart return in a parking lot.

This Sunday is going to be huge at church with one combined service.  I can’t wait.

My favorite line in class this week so far: “Dr. Robinson, you know last time when you were talking about…” (I have a puzzled look at this point) “I mean the last time I came when you were talking about…”

I watched from a light on Pensacola as a Taltron bus totally passed a stop and didn’t pick up two people waiting this morning.  I saw a girl give the driver a nice middle finger.  And then I realized it was one of my students.  I laughed.  And offered her and her boyfriend a ride.  I made their day.  And had the best 3 1/2 minute conversation I’ve had in weeks.  They made my day.

I haven’t watched LOST from last night yet and have no clue how I’ve managed to hold out until this evening.

Piece of Cake has started taking orders and already has satisfied customers!
