An end of July Friday-fitting clip. I want to see this movie. And I don’t care if you make fun of me for saying so! :)

Okay, so you know my cookies? I mean, the cookies. The chocolate chips ones? The oh-my-golly-jeebers-this-is-the-most-incredible-cookie-I’ve-ever-tasted-will-you-marry-me-cookies?
Yeah, those.
My first true cooking business venture. They’re on sale, starting tomorrow, at a local coffee shop.
You know you want one.
Or seven.
Go ahead. Indulge.

The best explanation and illustration I’ve ever heard answering this question. Thank you, Pastor Dean.
Looking forward to being back at Godby next week!

I took the Primary Colors Assessment Test Jovanna wrote about this morning. Brass Band, that’s my color. Here’s what it says about me. Whatchya think? My first impression: pretty dang right on.
BRASS BAND
Logic and analysis tend to be hallmarks of this color cluster. You are likely to be known as the “idea” person who comes up with new processes, approaches, innovative solutions and alternatives. While you may like structure (and, in fact, need it to be productive) you will thrive in situations that value your intellect and analytically abilities. Those with this primary color can be quite intense and focused when presenting or defending a new idea about which they are passionate.
People in this color area come in two distinct flavors; those who are very logical and base actions and decisions on facts and those who are equally analytical but make more use of their intuition and “gut feelings.” The latter will, never-the-less, tend to verify their intuition with facts and hard data. While you can work effectively with others and can be a good team player, you may prefer to operate as an independent contributor. Strategic planners can be frequently found in this color area.

The best couple exit at a wedding I’ve viewed belongs to Nicole and Josh. The best bridal party entrance, hands down to paired couple Sarah Griffin and Drew Weatherford. The best walk down the aisle, yeah, um, see below. You won’t regret it.
Can we get this action from the Fruit-Fady nuptials in two weeks? From the Kinsey-Rushe ceremony in December?
Only, and this is a must, only if Mrs. Doubtfire is there to officiate. How did this couple get so lucky???
Happy End to the Week!

This morning was exhilarating. And I wont lie. At first, a little petrifying.
But crusing at 1,500 feet above the Capital City was a treat.
You see, my friend Marty, he is a pilot. And he has a plane.
And you see, while lying in bed a few weeks back, I had this great idea for something for the Well’s two year anniversary service.
And, well, you see, once I get an idea in my head, it’s fairly stuck. Until I can figure out how to unstick it.
And that’s where Marty came in.
I can’t say yet what and why and how come. I promise it will be grand, though.
And will help in creating a moment.
Ahhhhhh, the moment.
The moments.
I had several of them during our 45 minute flight.
And I think that somewhere, deep down, a seed may have been planted about what I might want to be when I grow up.
One day.
The most dangerous part, according to my friend Marty.
The drive home.
Greater things are yet to come…

Walter passed away.
An amazing life, and legacy.
On the forefront of a then technological revolution, so common today.
92 years.
The headline and bylines have told so much.
But I wondered what he’d most want to be remembered by.
He was asked this question in an interview a few years back that was replayed today.
And he responded: “He tried. He had a vision. And in his own practice he adhered to it.”
I’ll remember him that way. A remind myself of that, too.
Long live Walter Cronkite. A great man.
And that’s the wa it will be.
